Since 2010 Mario Cipollini has been working to develop a range of high performance road bikes under his name. The bikes are loud and audacious, a lot like Cipo, and this was no more apparent than in last year’s launch of the Cipollini Bond.
You mightn’t see too many Parlee bikes out on the road but the frames you do see are always aesthetically pleasing. We were recently invited to photograph a beautiful new Parlee Z5i belonging to a fellow Melbournian who travelled with us to the Spring Classics last year.
Team Mapei was one of the most dominant classics squads of the 1990s, featuring the likes of Johan Museeuw, Michele Bartoli and Andrea Tafi.
