It was the long wait for The Vanilla Workshop’s prized custom race bike builds that eventually led to the formation of the Speedvagen brand. Handcrafted by Vanilla’s own Sacha White, each Speedvagon frame is the result of an ongoing conversation with the client, to ensure sizing and paint preferences are bespoke and that the style of the rider is matched.

When asked about the end-result of this process, Andy explains “The bits fits like a glove. It provides the nice supple ride of steel while still being very responsive and quick out of the blocks. It is super comfortable for the longer rides and descends like no other bike I’ve ridden. I’m absolutely in love”.

Andy’s Speedvagen Road Machine is spec’d up with a full Sram Force 22 groupset. White Industries T11 hubs are laced with DT Swiss Comp/Revolution spokes to Velocity A23 rims, wrapped in Conti GP4000s. Connection points are provided courtesy of a tailored Busyman reinterpretation of Specialized’s Romin Evo saddle and a Pro Vibe stem/bar combo custom wrapped in leather bartape.
