Many of you new to cycling (or to Australian cycling history) may know Scott best for his OzCycling, podcasts on the Subaru Cycling Show, and Fox TV interviews. He’s got a good rapport with most of the riders and knows the intricacies of the sport so he’s able to get the best out of them on camera. Scott also does commentary work in everything from local events to what we’re seeing at the Olympics. And when he’s not busy doing these gigs, he coaches our future stars on the track at the Victorian Institute of Sport. I won’t go through Scott’s cycling palmares as the video above takes us through one of the highlights - his Madison Gold Medal with Brett Aitken at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Inspirational to say the least.

I’ll also let you in on a little secret: Scott’s dropped 10kg, he’s back on the bike and looking like he does in the headline photo. Watch out Bendigo!
