GreenEDGE Backstage Pass - Stage 1 TdF

In one of the most chaotic days ever seen in Backstage Pass, the ORICA-GreenEDGE team battled a hectic opening stage of the 2013 Tour de France. The team bus collided with the finish line banner and Matthew Goss and Svein Tuft crash inside the final 10km.       The finish line barrier can raise & lower to let traffic through, the OGE bus was late, forgot to warn the guy who operates that to raise it, & thus a shambles occurred.

    Don’t get me wrong, I like Aussie riders but the management of Orica-GreenEdge team is shambolic. I won’t be surprised if they don’t win even a single stage.

    I like the way that the positive note at the end was that two guys went down, but they’re okay. Sounds like a great day was had by all.
