2011 World Champs | Not A Bad Start

Eighteen year old Jessica Allen from Perth’s Midland Cycle Club proved last night that she was the fastest U19 woman time trialist in the world. She blasted the 13.9km course with an average speed of 43.2km/hr to win with a margin of just under 2 seconds. Congratulations Jessica!

2011 Vuelta a España Wrap-Up

As a diehard cycling nut I’m ashamed to say that the Vuelta just didn’t grab me this year. I’m not exactly sure why. The racing was exciting, the course was challenging, there was lots of competition, and SBS televised eight stages of it along with highlights. What’s not to love about it?
