The Tour of Tasmania was held last week and is one of Australia’s premier bike races. It’s an excellent event for our domestic riders to prepare for this week’s Sun Tour. It also attracts international interest and this year was host to the Russion National Team, coached by former AIS road coach Heiko Salzwedel.

Tony Martin smashed the 46.4km TT course in Copenhagen last night with an average speed of 51.8 km/h. That’s 1.4 km/h faster than Cancellara and 1.2 km/hr faster than Wiggins.
