With Paris-Roubaix now behind us, the cobbled classics are done and dusted for another year. But before the cycling world turns its attention back to Belgium and the Netherlands for the Ardennes Classics – the Amstel Gold Race, La Flèche Wallonne and Liège–Bastogne–Liège – we thought we’d bring you a selection of great photos from […]

Paris-Roubaix captured in time

If you went to bed early last night and missed Paris-Roubaix you can be excused: Cancellara was the overwhelming favourite and, in the end, he didn’t disappoint. But it wasn’t like Boonen’s 50km solo attack last year where the result was known well in advance. In fact, it wasn’t until the final 20 metres of […]

Bikes of the Bunch: Colnago Mapei Master X-Light

The team won Paris-Roubaix five times and in the lead-up to the 2013 edition of the race, Melbourne-based Mapei superfan, Jeff Provan, invited us to photograph his Colnago Mapei Master X-Light.

Fabian Cancellara (RadioShack-Leopard) and Peter Sagan (Cannondale) were the two pre-race favourites and […]

ABSA Cape Epic: the untamed African MTB race

The 2013 ABSA Cape Epic MTB race finished over the weekend after eight days, 800km+ of riding, 15,000 meters of climbing, and all in the un-spoilt South African wilderness. It’s arguably the most extreme mountain bike stage race in the world. In this post, Raoul de Jongh shares some of his favourite images from the […]

Freedom Wheels Bike Raffle

Riding a bike is something nearly every single one of us did as a kid and we probably never gave it a second thought. Some kids don’t have this basic luxury of such a joy that represents fun, freedom, independence, and adventure. Fortunately kids with disabilities are helped by an organisation called TADVIC with a […]

Faces of Milan-San Remo

The 104th edition Milan-San Remo will be memorable for many reasons, but mostly because of horrendous weather conditions we haven’t seen in years. It was so bad in fact that the snow forced race organizers to herd the riders back into their busses, drive through the Turchino and La Manie climbs, and re-started the race […]
