I might be in a camp of one but I’m a cyclist and I strongly dislike coffee. And, the whole “cyclists love coffee” thing is getting pretty old by now too. Coffee drinkers have the worst breath and yellow teeth.

Caffeine-reliance is like workplace/grad school/life doping. Nobody likes getting out of bed. Nobody likes being tired. But I think the “I have to have coffee in the morning or I’m a zombie” thing is BS. Toughen up.

The constant overlap of cycling and coffee is becoming bothersome.

  I say the same for the “craft belgian beer” post ride thing too, since I have a strong dislike to alcohol. But it is also about being social and having a pre/post ride activity to bond over than just addiction or doping.
