Andrew Talansky (Garmin-Sharp) won the 2014 Criterium du Dauphine after eight days of consistent riding and after getting himself in a race-defining breakaway on the final stage. The 25-year-old American never dropped lower than fourth on the general classification and after moving up to third on the penultimate stage, it was on the final day of racing that he secured the biggest win of his career.
