We’re in the depths of winter here in Australia and during this time I always find it helpful to start putting some stakes in the sand to have things to look forward to this spring.
One of those things I’m excited about is a trip we’ve organised with Soigneur in November to Falls Creek in the Victorian Alps. Last autumn I joined Soigneur on a weekend getaway and was seriously impressed by what they put together.
Together, Soigneur and CyclingTips are hosting a three-day adventure in the far reaches of the Victorian Alps from November 13-16 where we’ll be riding some the lesser ridden roads you may have never seen in the area. It’s not a training camp; It’s a weekend where we’ll be chalking up some massive k’s during the day and spoiling ourselves with good food, drink and a lot of laughs in the evenings.
We’re staying in the wonderful Mogul Lodge, a newly renovated lodge in the Falls Creek Village on the Bogong High Plains. We’ll have a professional chef cooking all the meals, massage, a support car to help us through the rides, and all the other tiny details that’ll make this trip extremely enjoyable and memorable.
At the lodge and on the road you’ll experience pro-style treatment. All your needs will be catered for and you won’t need to lift a finger after your ride. But trust me, you’ll have worked for it.
Spots are limited to 21 riders.
