Not sure what Rapha has to do with this, it’s a great brand. Unfortunately hijacked by the ‘correct sock length brigade’, it’s no different as a brand to Assos and Capo, and it does actually make nice non branded clothing.
Shoot me, but this whole disc brake thing makes bikes look ‘ugly’ imo!
Won’t this mean, that road wheels for disc brake bikes, will get rims without brake tracks, and so therefore even lighter?
For one, it means no more radially spoked front wheels – that may or may not be an issue for you, depending on your views on aesthetics. It also means you are likely to hear the “scrape scrape” noises characteristic of poorly maintained MTBs on your Saturday morning latté run…
