Grimsel Pass

By Paul Calver on April 26, 2013

Sometimes you look at a landscape and wonder how exactly a road was built through it, but thankfully for us one was built here. It really does make you feel very small indeed. According to Wikipedia, the Grimsel Pass is a Swiss high mountain pass. It connects the valley of the Rhone River in the canton of Valais and the Haslital (upper valley of the Aar river) in the canton of Bern. It is located near the source of the Rhone at the Rhone Glacier.
