Hat trick for Cavendish in Qatar

Mark Cavendish (Omega Pharma-Quickstep) won stage 4 in Tour of Qatar making his third consecutive win in the race. The 154 km long stage 5 from Al Zubara Fort to Madinat Al Shamal was animated by Taylor Phinney (BMC) and Bernie Eisel (SKY) when they tried to break away after the final intermediate sprint at 127.5 km. But they were soon reigned in by Omega Pharma Quick Step riders who were dedicated to deliver the race leader in prime position for the sprint. Cavendish also extends his overall lead and now leads the overall classification by 15 seconds from Brent Bookwalter(BMC) who sits in second and Taylor Phinney (BMC) in third place (20 seconds).
