Double for Durbo

Yesterday morning before the elite men's race, Luke Durbridge (Orica-GreenEdge) spoke to his mum who mentioned to him, "why don't you go for a double today". He didn't make much of his mum's suggestion till the last lap of the race when he broke clear of Bernard Sulzberger after being in a small breakaway of riders since the first lap of the race. When Luke crossed the finish line, he became the first rider in the elite men's category to have won both the national individual time trial and road titles in the same year.
