Kulhavy's Gold

Jaroslav Kulhavy (Czech Republic) won gold last night beating Nino Schurter (Switzerland) in an exciting sprint finish. Marco Aurelio Fontana (Italy) came in with bronze after snapping his seat post in the final lap. Defending two-time Olympic champion, Julien Absalon (France) punctured on the first lap and subsequently DNF'd. Daniel McConnell (Australia) came across the line in 21st, 4:15 slower than the winner.
