Longest Breakaway in TdF

In the post world war editions of the Tour de France, there have been several breakaways that exceeded 200km. During stage 14 (Carcassonne – Luchon) of the 1947 Tour de France witnessed the longest and successful breakaway which saw French cyclist Albert Bourlon stay away for 253km to take stage victory.
