International Week of Coppi and Bartali

20th of March marks the start of Settimana internazionale di Coppi e Bartali (International Week of Coppi and Bartali) which is a five day race in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. This race has been won by two Australians since its inception in 1984; Phil Anderson (1991) and Cadel Evans (2008). Pictured is Gino Bartali(in stripped cap) following the wheel of Louison Bobet during the 1948 edition of Tour de France.
