Footscray CC Club VUT Crits (2012) - 19 January 2012
Thursday night’s racing at the V.U.T. circuit in Hoppers Crossing saw the FCC mix it up a little by holding points races for all grades, where riders have to contest multiple sprints to gain points to place on the podium. A-Grade was narrowly won by the in-form veteran Brett Hickford over the returning to form Graham Carlson, with B-Grade being dominated by Paul Kenny, who finished the clear winner ahead of a bunch of riders on similar points. C-Grade was won by Daryl Beovitch and D-Grade by Simon Perryman.
A-Grade: A: 1st Brett Hickford, 2nd Graeme Carlson, 3rd Darren Martin, 4th Trevor Hutchings & 5th Ben O’Leary.
B-Grade: 1st Paul Kenny, 2nd Mark Micallef, 3rd Craig Evans, 4th Phil Tehan & 5th Murray Crawford.
C-Grade: 1st Daryl Beovitch, 2nd Adam Aleksandrowicz, 3rd Mario Del Guidice, 4th Paul Farrugia.
D-Grade: 1st Simon Perryman, 2nd Peter Bloink, 3rd Dennis Hobbs.
