- The Col d’Aspin is a beautiful forested cat 1 climb that’s relatively steady. It’s been part of the Tour 66 times because of it’s linkage to the Col du Tourmalet (2115m) and the Col de Peyresourde (1569m).
- Can anyone guess which Vacansoleil Tour orphan this is?
- We approached the summit of the Col du Tourmalet from the east side (through La Mongie)
- This is the same way the riders raced on Stage 12 a few days ago. Except we did all the climbs in 2 days, they did it in 6hrs.
- To the pub for a few beers and to watch the last couple hours of an exciting stage up the Plateau de Beille
