I’m off to Le Tour today so you won’t hear from me for a few days unless there’s wifi in these new A380′s I keep hearing about. I can hardly contain my excitement and have a busy day ahead of me since I haven’t even packed yet! Therefore I’ll keep today’s post brief with a few mentions of things going on around Melbourne.

Don’t forget to visit Leigh Schilling and Alistair Wilson’s photography exhibition at Cafe Racer tonight. Lots of excellent cycling and landscape photography to look at (and purchase if so inclined), finger foods and drinks. Feel free to stop on over even if it’s just for a good chin wag.

Patrick from Raglan Images is selling these ultra cool limited edition prints (only 20 off). How good would something like this be to hang over the fireplace? Get in touch with Patrick for more details [patrick at raglanimages dot com dot au]

Cyclocross in June/July/August??? It’s a good thing many Aussies have no preconceptions about cyclocross because it would spin your head like it’s doing to mine. It’s so wrong that it’s right. Go to the Dirty Deeds Cyclocross blog for more details on the extreme pain (and fun apparently) that cyclocross racing entails.
I want to thank every single one of you for coming to this little corner of cyberspace and making my day so enjoyable. Being able to contribute and give back to cycling in this way is one of the most fulfilling things I could imagine.
Also, without the generous support of the sponsors much of this wouldn’t be possible. Cycling Edge, BMC, Wattbike, C-4 Bicycle Components, Bikeforce, RIDE Magazine, and Milani. They pay the bills that enable me to access much of the contend presented to you and I’m extremely grateful for that. During the TdF there will be a plethora of daily quiz questions where the sponsors will be hosting many excellent giveaways. Stay tuned!
